RESPONSIBLE FISHING

To help the Brazilian fisheries sector to develop in line with responsible fishing principles. We aim to contribute towards improved quality of life in artisan fishing communities and sustainability in traditional fishing territories.

It is our understanding that Responsible Fishing is a set of responsible practices aimed at ensuring the effective conservation, management and development of living aquatic resources with due respect for ecosystems and biodiversity.

PROTECTED MARINE AREAS

To reinforce management and boost the importance of these spaces all over Brazil, emphasizing positive relations between these units and the surrounding communities, promoting production activities that are appropriate for the context and conducive to the conservation of marine biodiversity.

CONSERVATION OF SPECIES

To promote the conservation of elasmobranchs (sharks and rays). This is a species of extreme importance for the health of the world’s oceans. The group is at great threat and enjoys little positive social visibility.
